SINGAPORE TO YOGYAKARTA TO BOROBUDUR

We flew into Yogyakarta in Central Java, where we were met by our guide, Arinto and driver Supri. We drove out of town to UNESCO Heritage sites to see Prambanan Temples.


After viewing this temple we had a delicious lunch at Abhayagiri Restaurant


After lunch we went to visit Borobudur, one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. They were preparing for the annual trek by Buddhist monks from all over the world to descend upon Borobudur on May 23rd.

After Borobudur, we were taken to our hotel, Plataran Borobudur for afternoon tea and treats!
